Reread One Piece. Since beginning.

Zoro is way more resilience than Luffy. He fought WSS back in Baratie, when he understood that he had no chance of winning he still faced Mihawk because a scar at the back of a swordsman would be disgraceful.
Different from Luffy that had no problem running from Doflamingo, Katakuri until his 10min haki drawback is over.

Zoro is fighting impossible fights like Mihawk and Mr 1 without running.

Zoro is following Luffy in any stupid decision he takes it.

Luffy is resilient to defeat in that he doesn't care how many times he is defeated as long as he wins in the end
Zoro is the opposite in that he would rather die than be defeated

That doesn't make sense. If he dies it was because he was defeated.
