Versus Battle Why does most versus battles stuff only relate to HST and nothing more?

Debatable. Even Vs. Battles Wiki has OP as continental rn (with Luffy at Multi-Continental) and it still has a Final Saga left, which is usually when the Shonen power creep happens.

Most people in general put current One Piece at continental. Which isn’t too far from Naruto. With Bleach, it depends on your interpretation of the feats and statements (it is too loose ended, which is probably why it isn’t really used in versus battles anymore).

The true HST consists of One Piece, Naruto, and HxH. Bleach would be the "4th".

The HST will always be One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto. It's not changing ever. Those 3 shows had such an impact during that time period

It’s because the Big Three are pretty relative to each other powerwise. HxH is too weak (compared to the Big Three anyway). Toriko is too strong. There are other series like KHR and Zatch Bell, but they are less known. Yu Yu Hakusho has already been surpassed by all three. Basically, the Big Three have the most fun and debatable matchups.

Bleach is above the other two, OP isn't even close to Bleach. TYBW really just made everything so much more difficult with the powers the characters had. Taking out the god tiers, we still got people like Gerard that solos Naruto and OP with his miracle bs.

The thing is most users here are more familiar with the HST verse or some other battle shounen manga while they have massive lack of multiverse battles knowledge. There are even people denying powercreeps in a battle shounen manga.

You're from Comicvine, right? Then I understand your concerns because this board is filled with massive amounts of different match-ups from different verses.

Worstgen is more casual about that which isn't bad. However, this forum was developed in roughly 3 years. It's still rather new compared to the other battle forums. More and more people join this forum and eventually, the multiverse battledome community will grow larger as well.

But it is in fact, it's getting closer. We still do not know what feats will happen in EoS but the best calcs of One Piece are in Continent - Multi Continent Lv range (Whitebeard's quake and Bajrang Gun). It's still not enough to match the few moon or even small planet lv feats of the Naruto god tiers but it is a start. But when it comes to Bleach, things get difficult because Idk if Bleach god tiers are actually close to cosmic beings or not. Then there is the statement of Yhwach wanting to destroy all 3 worlds. Well, that's a feat which will be difficult to surpass with when it comes to the HST.

What do you think about this? There is the statement and the feat was in the middle of being completed until he got stopped. It really just depends on how you scale the worlds imo, so it goes from multi-planetary to multi-universal

Yep, either this feat is multi-planetary/large planet or it is low multiversal depending on whether the worlds are meant to be the universes or just in fact planets. VSBW scaled the worlds as universes but I'm not sure how reliable it is.

hueco mundo has a moon as does human world so it's clear, that there's just planetoids outside of earth

VSBW scaled the worlds as universes, but certain individuals came in and tried to argue that Yhwach doesn't scale to his own feat, despite him spreading his own reiatsu across the realms. It was problematic since they took months to maybe a year to get it to universal with so 2-3 big ass crts, but then a month later someone came in and downgraded it. It just flip-flops all the time.

I personally think Yhwach is universal because the World of the living represents our universe and the Soul Society mirrors it, so it's the same size.

Well the Seireitei and the SS aren't really the same, it's in the Soul Society. Reverse London is on a different side of it, but I want to see how it plays out with BTW S2

That have different reasons, but the most popular reasons are probably:

1.) Popularity

Verses like One Piece, Naruto, etc. are really popular and have a big impact with a bigger fanbase. Those fans outnumbers mostly other verse debaters, but that is not only based on the HST. Verses like Dragonball and OPM at this point are even similar.

2.) Versatility

The HST verses contain a lot battle capable characters, while in a lot other/less known verses the number of battle capable characters is smaller.

3.) Knowledge

Primary knowledge about the more popular verses, less interest/knowledge in other verses make debating often very monotonous.





That also is based on my personal experience as someone who debatted around 15 years, because i debated only Naruto and One Piece when i start with it.

Later i gained more knowledge about a lot other verses, and the HST become more and more boring/irrelevant for me, because if you debate one and the same verse over years, you not only get out of ideas, but also out of interest to debate it.
