There's no admission to be made here.

There's no proof that Mihawk's slash is that powerful compared to Hiryuu Kaen. It felt extensively casual. Hiryuu Kaen would have most likely caused Jozu an inferno.

Jozu helped himself to take the strike trying to minimize his force too.
