General & Others Why does so many people think Skypiea is boring?

I actually really liked it, it was emotional enough, epic enough and also pretty funny. I must say that I read it in manga, didn't watch anime, so maybe that's the thing. Many people said that this arc doesn't had any Story ties and feels like a Sidequest, mostly coming from new readers and Anime plus they can't even Read LOL
They even Forget that there is Roger writing ( by Oden ) on Poneglyph/Gold (i don't remember exactly) on there, they just realized it now on Oden Flashback

It was unnecessarily long for the little amount of information we got. Almost 70 chapters. Maybe if it was condensed then it would have been more liked.

Every one has their own preferences. Skepiea was based with enel being a based villain. Arguably best pre skip villain.
