Powers & Abilities Why doesn’t Luffy use gear stacking instead of G4?

g2 and g3 combined are still less than the power of a kong gun
I personally think of it as a fast g3
he still uses attacks like elephant gun, gatling but is faster at it. The problem?
a kong gun is vastly superior to an elephant gun.
solution. adv coa upgrades everyone of luffy's forms. so strong that in his base, if he mastered it, hyo said he could stop bigmom in her tracks.
A faster /almost instant Gear 3 with the force of Gear 2 would be harder to dodge than a Kong Gun. It would also do more damage through Area of Effect( AoE) than Kong Gun.

Combined that with Advanced Armament Haki, you get a very devastating ability.

If WCI Luffy had used Gear Stacking(Gear 2 +Gaar 3) on Cracker's soldiers, they would have broken. It was significantly damaging Moriah who abosrbed 1000 Shadows.

Asgard Moriah(1000 Shadows) had King Kong Gun level attacks. He split an island in one punch.

You saw what Nightmare Luffy did with 100 Shadows. Asgard Moriah was stronger than Nightmare Luffy.

I mean, again, referring to the anime here, he sort of already does that. They even highlight that his using gear 2nd’s speed on top of Gear 3rd’s power.

Even in saying that, I doubt it would anywhere close to boundman, because the entire benefit of boundman is multiplying the tension of Luffy’s skin using haki, increasing the amount of force he can bring to bear many times over.
