So I've heard a lot of talk about this ever since WCI, with Luffy getting a bounty way higher than any other supernova and becoming strongest pirate outside of the yonko.
Basically, people say that Luffy is so much stronger than Eustass Kid that Kid will now become Luffy's cheerleader like Law and Capone. I think there are many reasons why this will never happen but I think that regardless of powerlevel, one thing is for certain. Eustass Kid is undoutably an antagonist.
If not for the fact that he kills civilians, if not for the fact that he's one of the only supernova who have shown explicit interest in one piece and being the pirate king, there is one integral plot point that prevents Kid from being Luffy's ally permanently. That is his relationship to Shanks. Eustass Kid has a rivalry with the red hair pirates and wants shanks dead.
Shanks, or one of the other red hair pirates, took his arm over the timeskip. In addition, we saw that the main purpose of his pirate alliance with Apoo and Hawkins was to kill Shanks. This won't go away after wano. Oda is clearly setting up Kid to be one of the main players in the downfall of Shanks.
So what does this mean? Does this mean that Eustass Kid will be an equal of Luffy's? Probably not, the only one who was ever on par with Roger was Whitebeard and Eustass Kid is far from being another whitebeard. However, he is easily the Shiki of the worst gen.
The fact that he is a CoC user and has another supernova serving under him clearly sets him apart from any of the other supernova in terms of relevance. I believe Oda even stated that he had very big things planned for him.
Here's what I think we can expect at the bare minimum.
Post-wano there would also be a ton of pirates who are really left without a roof over their head, so to speak. Hawkins, Apoo, and any of the beast pirate remnants, wouldn't be able to survive without the support of a yonko- like pirate. This is where I see Eustass Kid coming in. I think he will create a giant armada, similar to Shiki, with the goal of opposing Luffy. An anti- Luffy alliance.

- he will directly rival Luffy and will probably be defeated by him, even if its only as a warm up fight for a bigger main antagonist
- he will create a yonko tier crew
