Speculations Why i don't think Luffy will fight Akainu as a decisive fight

I mean there's a big possibility of a clash between them, but...for a decisive final fight to determine final winner and loser between them? I don't think Oda will do it.

My old reason:

- Luffy has done his role as Ace's little bro in Marineford, while Sabo (both Ace's brother and fruit inheritor) hasn't done anything at all

Recently i also think about another reason

- I think Akainu is a fighter with way too narrow of a fighting style. Not that it's not strong, Akainu is undoubtedly strong, but well he uses his magma to burn and melt everything, and...that's pretty much it. Meanwhile we see that Luffy's real main enemies mostly have a bag of tricks to fight. Doflamingo uses his strings to fly, being a puppeteer, pierce, restrict enemy's movement etc. Katakuri uses his trident, his FS to predict and intangible, his mochi to entrap-suffocate, send projectiles. Kaidou uses his kanabo, his fire breath, tornadoes, his gust of wind etc. While Akainu is quite far from having wide variation of attack types.

2. That’s still more variation than Kaido. We still haven’t seen Akainu fight for real as his aoe would’ve destroyed marineford. Look at PH.

I agree with the first part, but not with the second.

To be the Pirate King you don't need to fight the Fleet Admiral. You need to outdo other pirates.

Luffy is not going to fight against the Government for anything that he has to do with being the King of the Pirates, he will fight to save someone.

With the appearance of Im, Akainu's chances as a last opponent have diminished.

That's only partially true though, he clearly enjoys killing pirates and he's overzealous in his sense of Justice. Plus it's clear he doesn't respect the elders at all, I still think he's gonna be a major fight for Luffy considering their connection, unless Oda somehow makes Sabo strong enough to fight him

I don’t get why people bring up this “b-but Magu > Mera!” argument when in reality it actually SUPPORTS Sabo vs Akainu. Idk if y’all forgot, but in Shonen, the heroes are typically the underdogs. Sabo would be the underdog if he fought Akainu because of the Magu superiority

Yh....no. SBS confirmed Magu Fruit 》Mera Fruit...theres no way it can surpass him. The Magu Fruit was built to be the superior and stronger version. Honestly Oven's Fruit has a higher chance than the Mera fruit.

Like there's no way I can get over it? Someone missed Luffy's battle against Katakuri. Top Fruit, Best Fruit Mastery, Best Haki, and Who Won? The only thing superior to the Akainu fruit is attack power. We have seen much more unfavorable situations.
