Character Discussion Why is Imu so evil?

The mark on Harald made him act more evil and start to think of himself as a god.

Celestial dragons enough said.

Personally I think Imu is the in-universe devil, but something interesting to think about is, if he's not, considering he is way more evil than every villain in the story so far, why is he so evil?

I think it's the economics of the world. It's what vegapunk really is trying to resolve by creating an infinite energy source. The world basically boils down to resources (food, wealth etc), in the current one piece world the only way to generate these things is by using other humans to do it. Vegapunk goal is to use technology that's powered by perpetual energy sources thereby eliminating the need to use people as means of production.

Imu isnt realy evil, her action only target the JB faction monstly.

Also the celestial dragons, the ones who almost never leave mariejoes are trash and their action is the one that truly hurt the common people.

I dont think Imu will be so detached for their actions if the world didnt once allied with joyboy, Imus ultimate enemy..
