Character Discussion Why is Law is so important ?

#24
to be honest i think because he will be an unofficial strawhat till the end. he will contiue the journey with the strawhats as a friend since , he want to know the D meaning and he can know the whole secrets only if he continues with strawhats. forget about him being a rival. and i fear that Kid might do the same soon especially if he turns out to be a D. as well.

Law became important because he is (suddenly) extremely popular among One Piece fans.

With this in mind, Oda then planned Law role to assist Luffy (notice how he never declare to become PK unlike Kidd) and give him super cool abilities, with bonus of a super unique skill only found in one canon & non-canon DF, immortality.

These aspects is what makes Law important.

I wonder if he can hurt even Im sama if anything, just imagine that. @Lizzy @Natalija
He is one of the D and having Luffy in the same era with him + got D in his name too prolly woken the real curiousity out of him.

He has been wondering whats this D meaning and wanting to know about it probably gave him purpose to continue lifes (i think lol), afterall he have no one with him (i mean real family) only his crewmates so with that he tried to get as closer as he could with Luffy who got the same D name & Nico Robin who the only one understands the Poneglyphs, i mean i don’t blame Law to stick with SHP just to know informations about D clan and something like that and to help them (if you quietly want informations you gotta give something as reward which is ‘helping’ them lol). Also i don’t really see his real target being ONE PIECE or it’s just me..

Thats why he suddenly became an important character in my opinion..

Also i dont know and cant imagine how he would fight IM-sama, i think that would be cool, and yeah probably can hurt IM-sama (even tho we know nothing yet about this guy power)..
