Character Discussion Why Kaido being a dull villain is canon

#5
One of the most hype debuts in all manga.
Sadly he didn't deliver at all regardless of his powerlevel. A suicidal child beating drunkard who had a vision for the past 28 years but is actually a fraud who cowers in Wano doing nothing.

At least Big Mom was working on her dream, creating a land where all races can live peacefully.

He was a mass murdering maniac that tortured and starved an entire country for his generic villain goal of "anarchy is the only true state of the world".

Fuck him and fuck what he wants, he shouldn't deserve a glorious death like WB. He died without any spectators slowly and painfully in a pool of magma just as a POS like him deserves.

Oda had no idea what to do with Kaido. His personality was erratic and riddled with inconsistencies. His fighting style was lacking; the only difference between attacks was a harder club swing. His elemental attacks were merely fodder control and had little application in his hybrid fighting style. His character was never fleshed out because his flashback was only four pages long. Why was he someone who wanted to start the world's greatest war and die in a spectacular manner? Why was he attempting suicide if he was waiting for Joyboy? How did he come to those conclusions? He never felt like he had a legit threatening presence over the main cast. He simply felt like a raid boss and training tool for the protagonist.

The lamest thing Oda did was not have Kaido kill even one of the scabbards. Ashura was going to day anyway, why the fuck do you kill him to bombings instead of Kaido brutally murdering him infront of his friends in a dramatic scene.

Talks about one needs haki to conquer seas and not DF powers.

Proceeds to use his DF form for his final attack.

:suresure:

Covers himself with melting fire.

Proceeds to say he's gonna melt his opponent.

In the end he was the one who died by getting melted.

Kaido the goat.

100% agree. I have a hard time seeing how ppl think these 2 yonko clowns were ever a threat.
