Speculations Why Kuzan chose Teach over Dragon

#21
Bro Dragon is about to get Law'ed
He jobs to Imu and then cries for Luffy to take his revenge or whatever and set things right
He's not gonna do anything other than maybe beating an Admiral/Gorosei before becoming another crying princess begging Nika to save him.

To me, I think it's moreso that Kuzan doesn't want to stand for justice anymore.
He's become disillusioned with being this supposed pillar of virtue and righteousness that in reality upholds a horrid regime.
Kuzan's just burnt out on all that BS. He sees Teach as a guy who's gonna change the world, and so Kuzan has chosen to throw his lot in with him.

It’s less that he doesn’t want to stand for justice it’s that he doesn’t want to stand for someone else’s justice.

Dragon could only recruit bums like Ivankov, Morley and Gullibles like Kuma.

He got straight up rejected by Vegapunk despite WG commiting a genocide.

Dude have zero charisma and networking skills. No wonder Sabo is outshadowing him

he lost to sakazuki. he wants to restore his self worth by becoming the new legendary hero of the navy. garp also was never fleet admiral, yet overshadowed sengoku. he did that by helping to defeat rocks. the modern rocks is teach. so kuzan waits for the perfect time to backstab him and take out the most dangerous pirate, while sakazuki just pushed pencils around. kuzan thinks he can't do it alone. garp teamed up with roger against rocks. kuzan, student of garp, will team up with shanks, student of roger. both use the signiture attacks of their masters. fist, divine depature. they are still not modern garp and roger, smoker and luffy are, so they are doomed to fail, but they will try nonetheless.

Nah.
Akainu cares for the Marines as an institution. He wants it to look good in the eyes of the public, because he believes the Marines are the best (maybe only) system to keep criminals/pirates at bay.
Aokiji cares about the world as a whole. He didn't join BB to later backstab him only for a Marine Hero title. He joined BB because he thinks BB's way is the fastest to revolutionize the world, even if it'll be the more costly in terms of human lives. I don't doubt that Aokiji will try to sacrifice himself in an attempt to kill BB, once the WG is toppled. BB is just a means; Aokiji won't let him sit on the empty throne. Of course, I don't expect Aokiji to succeed in taking BB down, making his story all the more tragic - cast away his reputation, his own future, for what he believes is the best future for humanity, only to then open up the way for the worst future to take place.

He didn't chose. Is not like he is applying to jobs on LinkedIn. Teach found him and convinced him. A true entrepreneur.
