Real question is why they are going after him when they will only get embarrassed. They would be stupid, if they don`t send admiral after him. On the other hand if they send admiral after him, there greatest military asset would be wrecked. Lose-lose situation how ever you look.

Because the Shichibukai have committed multiple crimes and destroyed multiple countries allied with the World Government and now the entire world is fed up with them and wants them locked up. So now the Marines have no choice but to go arrest them all.
