He’s not the second strongest

He won’t be zoro’s final opponent since laftal or final war on the marines is the end game

He’s not a shichibukai anymore and he has no connection to laftal

So he’s probably gonna join the red hair Pirates in fighting the blackbeard Pirates

Shanks is losing to blackbeard
And Mihawk is losing to shiryu

Nah
He and vista are equals

worst fuking stupid theory ever, mihawk is the second strongest character because he is zoro's goal :))))))))) zoro's fan just want mihawk be strong to forget that zoro is disabled right now
No
They want mihawk to be this strong so if zoro beat him he would look like a god and then they can wank zoro even more 🤣

Unfortunately they don’t realize that

First
mihawk doesn’t fit in the supposed final arc (laftel or marine war)
So the chance of him being zoro’s final opponent is slim to none

Second
Zoro being the deutrogonist doesn’t mean he will be the second strongest
That’s headcanon nothing more nothing less

They always say that luffy/zoro parallel roger/reyligh

But reyligh was nowhere near the 2nd strongest character of his time
So why should zoro be?????

The answer is headcanon

People just downplay Mihawk because he clashed with Vista, without using any slashes lmao.
So basically it's the same shit as saying, oh Mihawk clashed with Zoro pre-TS, So Mihawk equals pre-TS Zoro.
while forgetting the fact that Vista literally didn't believe that Mihawk recognized his name.

Or worse
Luffy vs monet / ulti
These downplayer logic is monet and ulti is on par with luffy
Because they stalled luffy for a moment
What a joke

Why would top 2 in the verse ally themselves with the World Government to avoid being hunted?

Rayleigh was living on the Island pretty much next door to Marine Headquarters with no fucks given.

In fact, they still aren't trying to go after Rayleigh despite knowing exactly where he is. The second they abolished the Shichibukai, they immediately sent soldiers after Mihawk.

That tells you a lot when they won't directly go after someone who knows the secrets of the World, and a potential threat to them in the Future due to his connection with Luffy. They still leave this man alone, and he didn't need to be their Ally for them to do so.
Mihawk only joined the Shichibukai after Shanks lost his arm. While Shanks was active, he was perfectly content with being an outlaw. He lost his rival and became bored and disenchanted with the World. He joined the Shichibukai out of said boredom.

The World Government offered him the position and he had no reason to refuse, so he accepted it.

I have him around Top 7.
Hard to pinpoint how strong he is, given he hasn't even used one named attack yet.
Depends how much you value the WSS title.

In my opinion Mihawk's portrayal is paradoxically greater than Kaido's for a few reasons;

- IS his title, rather than being SAID to be.
- it features in the databooks which is decidedly a plus
- Zoro displayed to be most likely capable to give Kaido a run for his money if healthy, and that's thanks to his defensive and offensive outputs and yet he should logically most likely still stand rather below, possibly quite below, Mihawk. Kaido might be stronger than what he displayed so far, but if he truly has got to be defeated this arc, and it seems extremely likely, he might have gone all out / almost.

Tbh i am a bit confused by the WSS title.
Do we include say, whitebeard in the category? Because he is fighting with a black blade.
If we don't include figures that fight with a sword but utilizes mainly on their DF, then there can be quite a few people stronger than WSS.
However, if we do include figures like WB to the discussion, then the analysis becomes even more confusing.
Mihawk himself clearly didn't view himself as equal to WB, given his remarks in marineford.
