Powers & Abilities Why Mihawk's swordsmanship is the greatest

#22
Winning fights via Swordsmanship..... Neither Zoro or Mihawk are punching people into submission, now are they?
Okay. So the point is that Mihawk is the strongest swordsman because he is able to defeat every swordsman in combat

done

he is not the strongest swordsman because he has a special sword style that is more technical or whatever compared to everyone else

You understand that swordsmen have different styles

this thread is just me explaining why Mihawk’s is the strongest. Idk why you are raging.
@Monkey D Theories this thread is about you saying their is a power hierarchy in styles which isn’t true

There is no “stronger style”… Zoro wins his fights because he cut his opponent faster than they could cut him… Not because “the three sword style is the better sword style”

As far as we can tell, anyone can do any style and the only thing that matters is whether they are strong or not

Zoro randomly stole Kin’emon’s fire fox style… The scabbards randomly stole Oden’s style… And nothing changed in Either Zoro or the scabbards stealing those styles outside of the the fact that Zoro is stronger than Kin’emon and the scabbards are weaker than oden

the actual styles never changed the outcome of the fights… What changed the outcome of the fights was the strength of the swordsman

Mihawk is the Worlds Strongest swordsman because he can defeat all the other swordsmen… that’s all… He’s stronger than every other swordsman… Not his sword style being stronger… He himself is stronger

also I’m raging about this because Oda disappointed me regarding swordsmanship in Wano and I will not let people try and make up nonsense to excuse Oda’s laziness… too many things about Wano get excused by people here and I will not let this one be one of them

Shanks' divine departure looks like a function of some sort of barrier
Mihawk's attacks have always been the cleanest of slices. It would be extremely disappointing to see Mihawk using his blade like a glorified broomstick.
Those are just two sides of swordsmanship. Cutting anything vs cutting nothing.

With Mihawk having the top 1 swordsmanship, his "barriers" also have to be on par with Shanks' at the very least.

Your first sentence is a lie… there are no “various types of swordsmanship”

mihawk is the STRONGEST swordsman simply because he is able to defeat the other swordsmen… there is nothing special about him outside of the fact that he would win the fight

there is no further classifications of swordsmanship. There are no types. Nothing separates any swordsman from mihawk besides the fact that they are weaker than him
Cap.

You don't get it. The One Piece World needs a tangible reason to consider Mihawk the World Strongest Swordsman. Regardless if he can beat all other Swordsmen, which I'm not arguing against, that is not what he is recognized for by the World. Swordsmanship, and skill level is a thing. That's what he's recognized for by the people of the World.

So when zoro beats mihawk with the same technique that he lost with but due to superior haki and strength
What did swordsmanship mean then.

"There are no swordsmanship styles"

Lol, Zoro has three sword styles, Oden two swords style, etc.

There's obviously many different variations of swordsmanship but Mihawk reigns at the top of swordsmen due to his excellent swordsmanship and strength over any other swordsmen.

Being WSS is mainly about cutting skills & feats

Zoro novel gave us hints on how you can be WSS.

It's not about beating swordmen (top ones) or not, since Mihawk didn't do it and Zoro hasn't even been fighting Swordmen in NW (Killer, Pica, King, aren't swordmen)
