General & Others Why Neji's death makes no sense

#1
From the manga standpoint of the franchise, it really makes no sense why his death matters anymore then the sound 5's did

I mean outside of the fight with kid naruto and fight with kidomaru
I dont even think he did anything in the manga

I mean kidomaru like neji, appeared in chunnin exams acting as the one who formed the barrier surrounding orochimaru and sarutobi

Like why did you guys care that he died, i seen people saying they wanted him back
You only seen him for like 2 minutes of your entire life, I mean hidan appears about as much as neji in manga having 2 fights so why not get upset that he died

The care only makes sense from a fan of naruto, manga purist could of only seen this character for 2 minutes if
I mean if your a fan of the naruto as a whole and seen the anime, played the games then yea the reaction for the character's death makes sense as you seen him for hours on end. You have a investment in him however in manga only land it just makes no sense why you would care for a character that maybe you spent 3 minutes with at most

I can agree with that point. Neji wasn't really a character with a lot of screen time. And the Hyuga were hyped up to be the rivals to the Uchiha in terms of power, but that never came to fruition. So yeah, I guess Neji didn't matter that much in the grand scheme of things.

Neji wasn’t important enough for his death to matter much. If it were Kakashi it would have been different.
Well only minor characters with 5 to six pages can die
Idk. Could of just had background dudes die cause neji in the manga is about as important as them

It's only outside the manga ie filler where neji gets any amount screentime.
