Break Week Why nobody thought Sanji is captain?

#21
It's actually not easy for me to think about how much stronger everyone has become after their training, I don't get why we have to put other characters' strength down, if before the timeskip training or even before the growth they had in sttength since fishman island we heard of what either Zoro or Sanji's strength is now it would seem top tier,

This is good. But it's still only one example.
Most people don't think Sanji is very strong or worthy of being the captain.
Meanwhile Zoro gets multiple moments like that
This isn't really a fair statement but going to assume you just phrased it incorrectly.
Is the bolded bit in reference to only Absalom having commented on this? Or are you saying that there are examples of people saying Sanji isn't very strong, invalidating abasalom's statement? cause the way you phrased it sounds like the latter.

Zoro getting multiple moments is more power to him, but it really has nothing to do with this thread and overarching topic at hand imo.
This isn't a Zoro/Sanji dick measuring contest. The question is whether or not Sanji strength has ever been considered unordinary and beyond that of a subordinate and the answer is yes.

If we really have to make this a "Zoro is much better or special bcoz he has had more references" then my argument to that will be that Zoro simply gets ways more fight focus and combat spotlight than Sanji does hence the difference. To give a real world example, the more you swipe on a dating app, the more matches you will get. Which imo is fair, given that fighting isn't really all Sanji does. In additional to his exceptional fighting prowess, Sanji is also an exceptional cook and also gets focus on that so it balances out. Moreover the way Oda writes both Zoro and Sanji is inherently different. For one, Sanji doesn't have the same supernova dynamic that Zoro has with Luffy. He also prefers to keep Sanji low-key and have him do shit in the background as opposed to being smack in the middle of conflict.

Basically, Sanji is not Zoro but that doesn't really restrict him from also being an outlier in Luffy's crew which shouldn't really be that much of surprise objectively speaking given Luffy is going to become the Pirate King 💀

And Absalom is basically Moria's right hand and the guy who made Shyriu get stronger, thats better than some fodder calling Sanjj captain (when they already knew Luffy was the Captain, so as i said, its Luffy gas in disguise)

Didn't Nami said we the curly hat pirates back in Zou when they were being chase by the Bm pirates?

When has Nami lable herself as the Zoro pirates?
When they were fearing for their life in Wci they said they would have bought zoro if they were there to fight . You don’t need to bring Sanji if Siri’s there cause Sanjis a weak bum

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. If you have a conversation be more specific.
I edited my post.
That panel you posted before is not the same thing as Zoro, so you were reaching

For Zoro they think how he's not the captain
For Sanji they think how he's not one of the main fighter (as he doesn't have a bounty or his face on the bounty poster is different from his actual look).

If you're not biased you can easily see that this is not the same treatment.

If anyone is reaching it’s you with that mish-mash of claims to deny what is clearly stated on that panel. The panel I posted directly addresses the claim made by the OP which is clearly false. I have also already debunked the ‘petty’ argument. You can refer to my earlier post on it. Not really interested in having a Zoro v Sanji slugfest on the semantics of how a similar statement made about Zoro could be more special than Sanji’s.

if you're unable to grasp the nuances I can't do anything. Live in your delusion and go ahead. Don't quote me again.

"Petty pirate underling".

Petty: of little importance; trivial.
Underling: a person lower in status or rank

Absalom ask if he is really an absolute NO NAME FODDER PIRATE UNDERLING CABIN BOY.
No, Sanji is not that.

Still a far throw from thinking whether or not he is the actual captain.
Good one, but you have to try again.
No need to discuss with agenda based fans. Then Absalom even proceed to ask why he doesn't even have a bounty, which btw was the same thing that Kaku questioned on the sea train.
One can see easily, if not biased, that the treatment Sanji gets is lesser than Zoro

There's a lot of difference between :

- Captain statut

- Main Fighters statut

- Fodders statut

Why isn't he a captain isn't the same as wondering why he isn't one of the main fighters.

× Opponents elevate Sanji's statut from fodder to getting recognized as one of the main fighters while they elevate Zoro's statut from a main fighter to Captain.
