Queen also got hit by his own rockets while breaking Sanji's bones, and Alber could keep flying and attack Zolo from long distance with his laser like attack and Zolo admitted he couldn't block that, Zolo himself also said he needed to find a way to land his attack while Alber was flying from long distance instead Alber chose to engage with him in close quarter combat by using his speed which helped Zolo to cut him in close distance.

Because otherwise you can't make 40+ year old veteran, cruel and experienced pirates, with double if not triple the manpower of that of the protagonists, lose to bunch of young boys and teenagers (yes Brook, Franky and Robin aren't teenagers, but they're not the main force of the group). In a realistic scenario Luffy, Zoro and Sanji should have been in their early 40s with their fleet fighting alongside them, but then it's a big taboo to make shonen protagonists middle aged, otherwise this story would have been about Shanks, and Frankly it would have been gazillion times than the tune piece.

Lunarian flames is stamina dependent, or else they won't even get wiped at all.

King was afraid of Zoro.

So he fled with speed mode.

And with little stamina, he put it all on his last attack.

Little did he know Zoro has wifi attack that is still potent despite the distance.

Look at King vs Greenbull.

He has no flames at all, because he hasn't yet recovered.

Flames off gives him speed. Flames on give him nothing since Zoro can bypass it at this stage of the fight.
Its not that complicated.

You think thing take a long time because they are speard on a lot panels or because the anime depicted it that way. In reality we have no way of knowing how fast attacks actually are unless its stated. Bajrang Gun was also freakishly massive.
Why do you think Kaido could dodge it?

- Kaido wanted to fight luffy head on, wasn't a character that would run from a fight, and thought he'd melt Luffy's arm off. There's no reason for kaido not the take the attack head on in his character. You could make the argument he should have used fs to see if he'd lose the clash. Thing is luffy has fs to and 2 fs users fighting cancels out fs or at least severely nerfs the ability against one another.

- King had lost faith in his durability to block Zoro's attacks. He opted to stay in speed form and win at distance because he didn't think his durability could continue saving him. King wasn't being dumb and just chose the best option he had. It would be dumb to try and tank something you don't think you can for no reason.

Kaido have legit reasons to think his strongest attack could take on Bajrang Gun

Unlike Doffy who charge for KKG when got send flying by basic Kong Gun

Tatsumaki hit king and dragon damnation speed blitz king while he was mid air. King staying in the air wouldn't have changed the outcome. He didn't have faith in his durability anymore and wanted speed that not dumb. He started blocking and stopped ta king attacks then tried to keep distance and end the fight with his strongest attack. All that points to king didn't think he durability would keep saving him. What is dumb about what king did. It wasn't like he just decided to turn his flames off for no reason. He did it to gain speed and distance from zoro.

I mention kaido who was luffy opponent yet you didn't address him.
