Questions & Mysteries Why people give shit to Sanji when Zoro has the same weakness?

#21

so sanji in trouble because he doesn't fight woman, but zoro let sumo fighters take okiku because he doesn't fight naked men. double standards?
Zoro knew from beginning that Okiku was hiding his powers and he was not a fragile girl... he preferred not to bother himself when Okiku was perfectly able to defend...as he did defend himself/herself
on the other hand Zoro also doesnt beat women but he defends without letting them get upper hand and as he said himself when it is necessary he takes action, we saw that against Monet

that is assumption. zoro was smiling when he said it, so likely knew about her being male, not her power.

finding out about his strength is easier than her being a male... Good Haki can determine that and not only that, she is carrying a good sword, means she is fighter, anyone who sees that knows it.... if her sword is wazomono then even more reason for Zoro to count on his strength

Zoro knew Kiku didn't need his help and he was proven right so these are not comparable situations. Obviously he would rather not cut/kill any women but always does what he needs to to save his friends perfect example of that how he defeated Monet.

her sword got cut easily by kaidou's breath, so it's likely just regular.

and haki radar for strength doesn't work like the DBZ thing, it's just when oda is in the mood for it to work. like how coo only works when oda wants, or how none starts the battle full body armaments and so they can get damaged

like how kiku has ryou but forgot to use it and kaidou cut her up

Zoro knew okiku was playing around plus this didn't affect the plot.

Additionally comparing something that happened once and was immediately solved is different to something that has happened since the beginning of the series.

Zoro knew very well that oKiku can handle herself and he was right.
She was just in her teahouse girl persona and therefore didn't defend herself.
That's something entirely different from Sanji's not fighting women thing.
Slicing up an unarmed person who was not a threat to neither of them (they didn't attack O-Kiku, mind you) now equals to not fighting an enemy who threatens to kill everyone because she's a woman?
