Character Discussion Why people here hate Tama-chan?

People just say bullshit because she is a little girl and not a 5 meters "human" with big upper body and small lower body and a ugly face.
Nope, people hate the fact that plot decice like that exist.

Question is what you need to became PK? Believe in your dream? Many people has dreams, especially pirates, like Moria, but he lose to Kaido and all his crew died. Was he weak? Nope, he was strong. Then why he lose? Case he didn't have that plot device Tama. But not only her, also he didn't have pirate ninja minks alliance. How much effort Luffy putted into creating alliance? Nothing. He just acted stupid and reckless. While plot devices found him by themselves. Kaido vs Kid lose, Moria....but not Luffy, case his plot devices.

I have nothing against plot devices in small arcs, but here we have Yonko villain Kaido, and I think he is specific villain, and Oda should deal with him with bigger decision, than just introduction of another plot device for one arc.

Another criticism that I have against Oda's creation of Tama is that she is hindering the natural progression of the Strawhats. Nami and Usopp couldn't do anything against Ulti and Page One without Tama placating Big Mom. If Luffy's crew is going to surpass Roger's crew, then their growth should be natural. Their enemies shouldn't be nerfed by a plot device. What happened to Haki blooms in extreme situations? Wasn't Nami's fight against Ulti enough for that exact scenario to happen?

Oda and his editors wrote themselves into a corner. He made Roger's crew and the other Yonkos almost godlike in their power and viciousness. He also wanted to keep Luffy and the SHs as underdogs. It seems that instead of always getting natural character progression, the progression depends on the plot. Maybe it is me not having the best grasp on power levels, but I don't understand how the SHs will become the best pirate crew at this rate or without so many plot contrivances. Maybe One Piece is going to go on a lot longer than I expect it to?
I am thinking the exact same thing. Tama - BM plot was disappointing. Oda clearly messed up here.
