I can’t believe some people actually enjoyed that shit...there was zero tension but of course many of zoro fans specifically that don’t give shit about logic will enjoy it...I am huge smoothie fan but I won’t enjoy seeing her in a fight against yonko because I know she doesn’t stand a chance hence the plot armors...

they cry about how zoro blitzed kaido and I am like yeah how about Luffy blitzing both kaido and linlin ?

did y’all forget this or what:

Thing is this doesn’t even deserve to be called a fight...it’s nothing but the yonko playing little pirate games.

big mom NEVER get serious ...time and time again she keeps underestimating them untill she fall from the island...you see , she didn’t use advanced CoC against Kidd but she used it against page one ? Plot restrictions were too strong because oda didn’t want them to die.

Kaido the suicidal guy who keeps tanking the attacks on purpose; he screams then he laughs and the loop continues


Good thing that shit ended...now give me linlin vs admirals and kaido vs admiral level Luffy,Yamato, Kidd and law...there we can enjoy the fight because there should be no character restrictions and plot armors.

but i do agree the rooftop was trash, hell, the entire raid is trash
if kaido and big mom were attacking relentlessly like katakuri the fight would've been over in a matter of seconds, it"s like you said plote restrictions destroyed the tension, and also wasted a lot of time

It was good, but it could've been way better. Just not a fan of Luffy fighting taking Kaido solo with a powerup out of nowhere.

Didn't fully expect Zoro to fight but I at least thought Luffy, Kid and Law will take him down together. Meh, it is what it is. The bottom floors should be fun at least.

I'll be honest

• I wish advanced CoC wasn't hamfisted into the fight. It could have and should have been introduced in whole cake island when Luffy fought big mom. Then Luffy could have worked to develop the technique, failing to use it against cracker and katakuri, but succeeding against kaido.
• I wish zoro actually had to earn his power level like Luffy does, instead of just gettng stronger off screen or being giving a magic sword that gives him advanced haki. Oda could have and should have given him at least one high diff fight pre-kaido.
• I wish Oda gave Kid a meaningful subplot pre-war.

It wasn't that good because group battles against such strong opponents is hard to handle especially when you have someone that can't damage them and you have to force plot to make him somewhat relevant just to realise it was a mistake and make him leave.

Anyway there was some good parts, Zoro did very good and he got fucked up, at least this is realistic, I can't see why people complain about his performance. Did they expect him to die and do nothing?
Also Luffy learned how to use his CoC with his attacks, something he was trying to master for 2 weeks already. It's been said and shown multiple times that haki bloomed during battles and extreme situations so no problem here.

Now it's going to get better with Luffy finally fighting mostly in a 1v1 against Kaido.

And don't kid yourself, Big Mom isn't going to fight multiple admirals at once. There isn't any guarantee that even one is coming. And Kidd and Law are done with Kaido, especially Kidd since he can't damage him and Law saw the difference between him and Luffy and accepted to leave and trust Luffy for the win like his other nakamas.

This is why I feel like this raid will fail but it’s just a matter of time...the power balance is absolutely broken ...
