You're saying this when Saturn was not surprised to see Luffy lying down and immobile either lmao. All he said is that he understood why Kizaru's work was slower than usual. Kizaru was not sent to defeat Luffy, but Saturn was fully aware of his presence and still expected Kizaru to carry his mission knowing that Luffy & his crew were protecting Vegapunk and holding York hostage.

True, but Kizaru was told to go around Sentomaru, so I don't believe Saturn expected him to clash with Luffy either. Luffy just forced him into a fight.
While I personally believe Luffy might be able to beat Kizaru, I'm not trying to argue on that here. I'm just saying that it's a false equivalence to compare the Egghead situation to Cracker being sent to fight Luffy
