To the post’s point, and others have said it, he doesn’t hate her. She still represents his father and brothers, who he definitely despises, but she’s the only one who has shown him any real kindness, and he’s shown concern for her well-being in return. Maybe she’ll even be the conduit through which Sanji eventually reconciles with the other Vinsmokes, but that doesn’t seem likely.

He doesn't hate her, he's much fonder of her than he is of any of his family other than his mother.
But the thing about Reiju is she's still a reminder of his dreadful childhood. Where she was a coward for the most part and, although not contributing to the bullying physically, went along with it for fear of being picked on as well. That's out her own mouth. And then as an adult, despite not being an emotionless brute like her brothers, still continued to go along with her families deranged outlook on life.
There's really not all that much to like about Reiju. Her love for Sanji is about the only redeeming part of her character. She actually knows what Germa was doing was wrong and went along with it for years.

Reiju joining the crew, Sanji and her have a rough time interacting as adults, meanwhile they grow closer and his Pervy side getting the better of him but she caught on and tells him she flattered but like him she's totally a pervvy girl looking for women but landed no success... after that they truly bond as Brother and Sister Perverts pining for that pussy and ass. Ahahaha
