So as you know, there was a lot of threads about power scalling, and "characters shining moments", so I must warn you that this thread will be different.
Now I know that many Sanji fans actually hate the fact that Sanji is actually using raidsuit from the begining, but I will show evidence why this is how it's suppose to be, and even more, this is the reason why Sanji has to fight King.
Why I'm saying this? Because Sanji is the only one from monster trio, who seriosly take whole this situation. If you compare Sanji and Luffy or Zoro, you will saw big difference in the fact how they act in Wano arc.
Talking about Luffy and how he acts in different situations: Luffy vs Ulti: Luffy starts without Gear 4, lose in clash and then decided to activate Gear 4; Luffy vs Apu: Luffy starts without Gear 4, and took a lot of damage, he was closed to knock out; Luffy vs Kaido: started in gear 3 against Younko. Now all those fights just prove that Luffy didn't take seriosly battle against Younko, you could try justify him that he shouldn't go all out against scrub, but Apu prove different thing, that if you take lightly you opponent, you will probably lose? ofcourse he has MC plot armor, but as we saw in battle against Apu, Oda just wanted to show why Luffy's recklessness and self-confidence is really bad thing.
Now if we look on Zoro, he wasn't really different from Luffy in Wano arc. All his words that he said in Zou arc was forgotten by him. and that became the main reason why he lost consciousness in battle against Killer, and was damaged by Apu in last chapters. You could argue, but If Zoro was serios from the begining he wouldn't lose his consciosness and probably one shotted Apu.
So in the end it's obviosly that Luffy and Zoro was self-confiedent too much, they just didn't act serios at all.
While we got Sanji, who didn't attack King in base and only then activate raidsiut, which is why he didn't lose his consciosness in this chapter after King's attack and that's the main reason why I loved that moment where Sanji attacks King. Sanji is smart character, and even if he was for a long time self-confiedent in himself, all those loses that he got in Dress Rosa, in WCI arc, made him understand his limits, so he learned that if he face greatest opponents that he ever faced, he should use everything that he have. Also this is obviosly that if Page-One was strong enought to made Sanji understand that he obviosly would just lose that fight without costume, the King is much stronger. So Sanji didn't act like a girl, didn't try to play his pride thing, and made his feeling about Germa66, became obstacle in his assesment of the situation in Wano, in all risks that he has to face.
From that point it's obviosly great development of character that have to put his pride away just to win, because you have to pay the price for your victory.
Now Zoro didn 't pay anything for his victory, yes he was training, but he wasn't serios as Sanji in this arc. So if Sanji and Zoro vs King will happened(which I don't want to) it would be unfair. Zoro wasn't serios at all. That's why I believe that Sanji has at the very least deal the last damage on King and knock him out. And yes I will hate Zoro vs King thing, case he didn't deserved it.

I'm interesting in your thought guys, what do you think about Sanji vs King?

Could you add simple "No, Sanji does not need to fight King" as a voting option? Thank you.

I don't understand how the points you brought up make Sanji vs King more justified than Sanji vs Queen. Don't you think literally everything you said could still work just as fine if his opponent was Queen ?
the only thing that makes sanji vs queen is less possible because how durable queen is compared to king.
if sanji fight king, the aerial, kicking style, and his fire ability will be relevant until King pulling up his sword.

Because the fight already started, also I don't think that Queen would be better choice for Sanji. Case common Queen is Fat, so fat=tought, which could make him much worster matchup for Sanji because of his durability. Again why you need to spend pages on Sanji vs King clash if you don't want them to fight?
Also Sanji litteraly never tried to change his opponent in normal cirquimstances: a) Thriller Bark - when Sanji faced Orz he was fighting till he could, and didn't wanted to retreat even if it was for saving Nami sake; b) Sanji while he faced Daifuku didn't plan to defeat his opponent case his major idea was in rash in, and then retreat from the island.
Now ofcourse people love to remember fights that begins with Sanji clash just to hype characters, while never was continued by Sanji: a) Sanji vs Vergo - was used litteraly as hypetool for Law; b) Sanji vs Doflamingo - was used as hypetool for Doffy and Luffy; c) Sanji vs Katakuri(even without clash) - was used for nothing, actually that hyped Sanji, not Katakuri
So in this case you could think that Sanji vs King was just a hypetool for Marco vs King or else, but there are a big difference:
1) King is not main villain in this arc, so there's no need to use other characters as hypetool for him; What I mean now? In Sanji vs Katakuri, Katakuri was used as hypetool for Sanji, case Sanji could evade attack from the man who can see the future;
2) There's no reason for hyping Marco or Jimbei case both was already hyped enough in Marinford;
3) It's useless to use Sanji as hypetool overall, case Younko Commander already was hyped by Luffy more than enough;
With all that said, I believe there's no reason to Sanji battle someone else than King in this arc.
