It's a thing that bother me so much.
Everyone know how Chopper have lacking content since the return from Time-Skip,but also are acting like Oda really scrapped Chopper forever. What's the reason for it? Why peoples think Oda's that type of people, same with he having showed across his career how dedicated he is? Why peoples never does discussions about Chopper's next storylines, improvements and battles? Why peoples always act like adventures and battles not matter in Chopper as character, when it never was true? Why peoples always act like Chopper's lines in history will always be only heal his crewmates in end,and will always have characters overshadowing Chopper in everything?
I wanna answers for all of it,of everyone in WorstGen.

Bcoz Chopper is reduced to irrelevant Mascot after Timeskip

He used to be cool. Blame Oda
That's the same damn thing i read peoples say everytime!
Why peoples accept these boring times as if are immutable? Why they doesn't analize him better during story and get positive thoughts about him in future?
It' because Chopper is a far sweeter type of character than Doflamingo and Kaido and peoples hate it?

Because they are...

It's hard to get positive thoughts about him when he's portrayed as irrelevant Mascot

He probably won't even get a proper fight like in EL at this point, probably won't even be relevant enough for Oda to draw
Look at this panel

You can't even see him...
That's how relevant he is

Probably will shine a bit as doctor, if he didn't find the cure for Smile all by himself he's done for

Because even in moments youd think he'll definitely get highlighted and get the spotlight he deserves oda don't give it to him

Chopper was on an island full of humanoid animals kinda similar to him and it wasn't even a big deal
He helped tend to the mink and zunisha but those moments were barely highlighted for a page each

Hes currently on a territory owned by the strongest zoan crew. With chopper easily being one of the most unique zoan users ever youd think hed be more relevant. Tho i honestly still got hope tbh

On punk hazard, zou, and wci he wasn't able to treat his patients himself and needed outside help. Reason being poisons he wasn't able to cure himself.
And fair enough cause chopper does specifically work best with sicknesses, diseases, and wounds and poison is different.
Id be totally fine if it happened once but no it happened 3 times with oda sadly making chopper look incompetent. If he learned how to deal with it after the first time i wouldn't have a problem.
At least he was able to cure queens plauge gas from luffy tho

Long story short
Oda has not been treating chopper with much respect as a character and it sucks. Hopefully that changes soon

Probably he didn't before...but at least he treated "virus" affected people in Udon including Luffy without any external help ......
he is doing fine as a doctor....

even as a fighter he did withstand BigMom attack and few things here and there....

but yeah, I agree with you...he needs proper 1 vs 1 similar to EL....as a fighter, it's been long due since he has shined....hopefully, he will get a good fight in Wano....

It's so sad how you have such many negativity to with a comic that's about life and positivity. I wonder how is others stuff in your real life.

Chopper is the cutest thing I saw drawn in manga and at the same time, he is very powerful. Quite a combo.
It is just that people prefer to argue other character's power levels. The emergency food supply is also quite hilarious.
It is also Oda's fault for neglecting all characters post-TS aside from Luffy but Wano should address each Strawhat individually.

Simply put, Oda's fault. All characters have a certain purpose. Chopper's medically based. Only natural people will view him more from a medical stand-point than a combat-based stand-point. If people aren't interested in medicine or such areas or even his story line, they're likely not going to be interested in him.

It's no different to Nami, no one views her as a combat orientated character, but a character who is based on navigation and meteorology. Chopper's story and ambition is medical.

End of the day, people appeal more to combat, Chopper's simply not combat orientated.

You can't criticise people for not wanting to talk about a character they don't like or a character they're not interested in. Just because you like Chopper doesn't mean others should like Chopper. We're all individuals and that means we like different things. It just so happens you're a minority and that's just the way it is.

If Oda makes Chopper more interesting, then they'll talk more about him, until then, there's really nothing wrong about him not being discussed much. It's simply a matter of preference and what appeals to people; I can't tell you what to like and neither should you try to tell people what they should like.

There's nothing to try to understand about why people don't talk about Chopper. The reason is simple, they just don't find him interesting. No different to loving Opera music or Classical, there's nothing to understand about people who don't find Opera music or Classical appealing, it's simply down to their taste and preference. Even more relatable, you like One Piece and there are people who don't like One Piece or Anime or Manga, why? They simply don't, it's not to their taste.

I'm confident Oda himself has lost his interest in Chopper since he "gallantly subdued" to the anime's changes on how he wrote the character as he himself stated in an interview, so the fandom doing so is the next natural step.

It’s because Monster Chopper > Jack in 1v1 combat and people want to stomp out this reality via silence, and thus no one gives chopper his due credit.

The fact is, Chopper > YC3. We have yet to see him go all out too.
As a chopper fan, I've been in shambles for years...:feelscryingman:
You two wanna join Chopper's fanclub? Is the best place for share enjoyement by Chopper in all internet and the leader is none other than me.
