The most intriguing part about Dragon is that no one in the series ever talks about him despite being the most wanted man. Even in the community/powerscaling, he isn't mentioned much but somehow others who are still a mystery gets mentioned a lot. I believe Shanks and Kaido were the most hyped characters from all sides.

Why? Shouldn't everyone be more excited about Luff'y father and Garb's son who is at war with the Celestial Dragon than pirates chasing for the One Piece that is getting tiresome?

That's the name that got all the top tiers terrified. You're not going to see their reaction to warlords and Yonkos (Shanks doesn't count due to political immunity).

Don't agree with the thread but the scan you posted kind of implies Dragon has Conq Haki, which is expected but still hype, so thanks for that.

His only problem is that he lacks screentime/feats and the majority of the readers dont give a fuck about the RA at this point (thats Oda's fault)

Anybody who really thinks that Dragon is weak/fraud is dumb.
The guy has family plot no way he is weak.

Probably a result of holding back too much info for too long. If you keep saying "this dude is the best I swear" but never have anything to show then people stop believing. Sabo as mentioned ITT has had some public action whereas Dragon never really did much but save his son with a weather change I guess.
Maybe we'll get some flashbacks where we see more of him but now it's basically too late since Sabo is leading the revolution with impactful actions and took his spot in that organisation.

The longest a mysterious character go without explanation the higher his relevance is.

Like a chekhov gun, Oda always keep Dragon on our peripheral vision, but never using him.

I think Dragon is one of the safest beta as far as power scaling go.

Hero father and yonko son? The MC genes aren't skipping a generation
