I suppose the weak trio won't develop it this arc, I somewhat suspect not even the mid trio will.

By the time the EoS SHs will fight the EoS BB Pirates every SH will be obligated to possess some haki or else they will never manage to defeat their final opponents.

I think they should have haki. If they do not have it, it's fine if they can imitate haki i guess. Like
Chopper with his deer nail and ultra animal instinct
