Will the WG recognise Pirate Island?

I am convinced that he will be. He has two valuable bargaining chips: Garp and Caribou. Due to Crossguild, the navy lost alot of prestige. The World Government will try to prevent any more humiliation. Caribou can store unlimited food inside of himself, and thus can end the food shortage in the Holy Land. Those two will easily buy Blackbeard a seat at the table of the Revery.

He has betrayed the Government before, but making him king is not going to make him any stronger. He can attack the WG with or without title.

I have been saying this for a long while now. We need an endgame threat and massive stakes that defy any logics of the One Piece world.

I think Teach will become Pirate King and show us how an "evil" pirate king will move the world. Then Luffy has to fight off the title from him and show us how the good Pirate King will move the world. That would be probably the strongest available move for the story now before Oda will eventually miss that chance ever. That is if Oda wants to take the foil-idea of Blackbeard to all possible levels.

Oh this was about Pirate Island, not about Pirate King. Seems I was still waking up lol.
Idk about Pirate Island tho, but I am sure it will remain there until the very end.
