Powers & Abilities Will Blackbeard have Conqueror’s haki?

In my own headcanon, Blackbeard's background and plot would be related to the D. family, their relationship with devil fruits and the connection between these and souls and, therefore, will (or haki). He wouldn't be capable of developing haki, and therefore would go for three devil fruits that could grant him abilities mimicking it: the Yami Yami, for armament; the Gura Gura, for conqueror's; and the mythical model of the Hito Hito, for observation (because of enlightenment as related to "seeing and feeling beyond yourself"). These three would also represent the strongest fruits in their categories.

Of course, this was debunked the moment Teach was confirmed as an armament and observation user.
This feels like it was a very great and enticing theory for the past.

Nah.. Blackbeard to me doesnt act like someone who has conquerors. He may have big dreams and all but hes a bit of a scaredy cat. His DFs are broken as heck plus he more than likely has Armament and Observation. Hes a very tactical, smart dude who plans stuff out in advance. No supreme king traits though.

If anything BB is scared of Shanks, the first thing Shanks showed up in marineford to ask for fight, BB asked his crew to gtfo
Just like how Mihawk refused to fight Shanks right? Now what does that make Mihawk look like?

Strategical retreat, Mr. Sparrow. He knows damn well Teach won't be stupid enough to fall for his taunts and fight to death when he just claimed what he came for. But if Shanks really had the guts to stop the scary Teach who gave him traumas, he wouldn't hide behind the excuse of stopping the war to maintain balance, he would have attacked Teach on spot to kill him before he gets stronger during the timeskip to take Whitebeard's position.

Prime Trashbeard ran away from fodder marines when he had Oden with him and Luffy ran away from Smoker... :risitavirus:

What are these strawmanning accusations for? The one who doesn't read well is the one who forgot that Teach's arrival at Marineford by itself debunks the lie that he was afraid of facing anyone, if you read the manga better than us then why are you willing to reaffirm Mihawk's excuse but ignore Teach's? Or you just want to present the part of truth that fits your agenda?

Stop, Shanks fans will report this... :shame:

I think he does have it (or will unlock it before meeting Luffy), but I don’t think he should. There’s no denying his strength, but the way he’s achieved his lofty position is just as much due to his conniving betrayal of every organization that’s welcomed him into the fold as it is his quasi-overwhelming powers. That kind of behavior can turn you into an emperor or a king, but it doesn’t truly make you a conqueror at your core.
The same can be said about mingo

He is a coward person and fears death , as he thought that WB was gonna kill him he begged for his life. but he is still a leader , maybe he has two souls in his body and maybe that is why he can have two DFs. having CoC will not much of a surprise but not having it as well . i wish he doesn't have it.

Not really...Doflamingo acted out of revenge whereas Blackbeard constantly acts out of cowardice. The former certainly conned his way into his position, but it was with the swagger of a World Noble with an Awakened DF; the latter came from (seemingly) nothing, spent two decades on Whitebeard’s ship for cover, then spurned the WG after getting what he needed from them. They both use others for their personal gain, but Doffy having CoC makes way more sense because he would stop at nothing to conquer while Teach doesn’t mind saving his own ass or hiding in plain sight.

Yes Haoshoku translation is Supreme Leader / King as it's well known, so leadership of some sort is a fundamental element. But the qualities of a ruler are also probably fundamental.
