Bon boy could very easily escape anyway by disguising himself - he may already have escaped

To add to this, Magellan was purposely demoted to Vice Warden, I half expect him to give chase and fight during the final war

He is having a balst there and also a figure like him is needed there to help those that are in need there, but I think if he wants and thinks is time for him and the others to flee he can do it thanks to his fruit he just has to take the resemblance of guards etc and slowly go till the top
