I think Phataminum and Enryu will be relvant to the plot in the end of the story. It would be bad if SIU never made any of use of them after introducing them to the plot.

He will appear because he is relevant to story and is the person who brought thorns around which all these seasons been revolving,

I believe Enryu will have endgame relevance considering what he means to the plot, but he may be to powerful to be used often. Also, he's not an evil person from what we've seen so he won't be killing indiscriminately. When/if he comes back into the story, it will have wide reaching effects. Maybe he will be a mentor to Baam rather than an agitator/combatant.
