Is it likely?

I legitimately do not understand what is either shocking or oh so infuriating about Devil Fruits being Haki restricted. They had to be. If Law via his devil fruit was capable of one-shotting Big Mom why the hell would he have ever worried about somebody like Doflamingo? If some OP devil fruits worked without restrictions and upper limits, it is a complete I win button against all other characters.

If Law was capable of using his powers on people like Doflmaingo without restrictions, nothing about his team up with Luffy would make sense. Haki was intended as an equalizer to devil fruits, Garp and seemingly Rodger were top tiers without fruits because of their Haki.

If devil fruits were able to work on a person no matter how strong their Haki was, that would never have been possible since people with bullshit fruits like Law or Sugar would have one-shot them somewhere along their journey.

They question is, was that an iron clad lock on the fruit itself or law.

Law is the deciding factor. He has to be as far as I can tell, at least. The fruit itself doesn't have some upper ceiling where the power just no longer works. No fruit seems to work like that. Law was strong enough to use his fruit on people like Smoker to remove his heart.

He cannot do the same to Kaido because he is not strong enough. Hypothetically speking, Law might surpass current Kaido in 20 or so years. If he traveled back in time? He might be able to use his heart extraction move on Kaido. But until then because he / his Haki is weaker, he can't tear down Kaidos defense and thus can't use his Op bullshit on character with better defense than his offense would be my guess.

I personaly don't see any problem in that and it makes sense. There has to be something to counter DF's - and that is Haki. But what i didn't liked about it, is that Law couldn't even move Kaidou and BM with his DF. If Law attacked them with his DF, like trying to cut them and they would use Haki to block it, it would make completely sense. But the fact that Law can't move them makes no sense to me. It just seems like Oda had to come up with an answer why Law doesn't simply teleport them somewhere - and the answer is pretty much ''they are just too strong''. It just seems like an ass pull to me.

One Punch Man spoiler: It's the same when Tatsumaki fought Saitama and tried to lift him up with her abilities, she couldn't do it, because he was ''too heavy''. Like what?! He weights like a normal person and can be moved physcialy by much weaker people like it would be the case with any other person. But Tatsumaki's abilities can't lift him up, even tho she can lift a whole city? That is complete BS, and the reason for that was, because Tatsumaki tried to throw him into space and kill him that way. Which most likely would have even worked.
Basicaly he is just that strong that he counters ''conveniently'' abilities like that.

And in OP we have pretty much the same thing now, Oda just tries to hide it behind ''Haki''. Law's ability stil can damage them, when they don't use CoA. So why can't he move them?

But let me guess, if Luffy was on their level Law would stil be able to teleport him around, especialy when Luffy had to be safed...

Oda created haki so that fruits like Ope or Gravity wouldn't just one shots people left and right.
I think however if the user's haki is good enough Ope might indeed demolish characters wielding similar haki . Like the famous Law v Vergo encounter. It worked. Of course yes Vergo wasn't exactly fully aware of what was coming but what happened is still clear under the eyesight.

law's technique catches the person off guard and law couldn't move em...

its not like it requires preparation (to avoid it) you won't see it coming either way
I think they always have haki activated for defense, but that was one moment BM wasn't using it because she was in such dominant position. She's retarded after all.

Law wasn't nerfed. Haki is always a counter to DF except for Barrier no Mi and Birdcage from Doflamingo.

Fujitora was nerfed way before his introduction(actually his DF introduction). Since Yami Yami no Mi is doing black holes I believe Fujitora's DF won't make it.

Make some since. Law can still be strong and “OP” without haki restrictions. If someone is better tha him they simply avoid his attack or disrupt it with their own

Haki can’t stop Sugar. Anyone she touched would suffer. Same as Jewlery Bonney and her age powers

Nice joke with the Fuji being nerfed

Oda was drunk when he made laws power set. It’s too good, like robins.

haki is the only way to keep it somewhat reasonable. It’s a sloppy cap, just like all the stamina issues, but it does the job i guess. Just wish it was better explained and more consistent with how fruits and haki interact rather than just vague “your haki is too strong”

As an antagonist Fuji won’t suffer from the plot plot no mi. He’ll be able to pop off as much as required to look threatening to the main character that fights him

Fuji's powers dont need to be restricted by haki, they are strong but not broken.
well...its broken ..

even kid's is and he was able to repel a Yonko... .. if he could then any admiral can , so he's strong enough to repel a yonko with his Df but on the fence in a way so he can be teleported by law...kid seems more broken than law honestly seeing how he repelled bigg mum

broken in a sense that a Yonko is now movable by him with his Df ,...not regarding tricks and hax
