Parts might be skipped if they are happening real time as the battles are going, but it's also possible Oda does a "rewind the clock" business to show us what was happening on the roof while the other fights below occurred. That's if Oda dedicates the next dozen or so chapters on the other Strawhat fights and shows us nothing of the roof in that time.

The fight overall will not be skipped. The two most important Strawhats for this arc are up there, and Oda's built them up too much to skip a large chunk of their battle.

He never said "Have you seen this gorgeous girl", he said "Have you seen a gorgeous girl LIKE HER". As in Older Robin is gorgeous but looks like her 8 year old self.

It wouldn't make any logical sense for Sanji to call her 8 year old self gorgeous, since he isnt looking for her 8 year old self. He is just saying her grogeous current self looks similar to her 8 year old self.

Again if Sanji was a pedo he'd be hitting on little girls.....which he doesnt.

I'm assuming that Hybrid Kaido will demolish them the first time theyre up against him, so Oda has to use his greatest plot power to make sure they survive. And that is the ability to offpanel. He's used this power constantly to make unlikely things happen, and by off-panelling it he doesnt have to draw the bs scenario. For example:

- Base Kaido not killing off the scarbbards
- Sanji not being to escape BM with the RS

So assuming Hybrid Kaido wants to kill the SNs, then the only way I see them survivng is to off-panel the scene...and just show their unconcious bodies of the SNs. It seems like the most Oda like thing he would do.
