Speculations Will Law die?

I think the surgery was mentioned to reveal someone that has already received it rather than for Law to die using it but it could certainly still happen, Dressrosa would've been the best place so far to have an impactful death but even then the lack of his crew made it seem unlikely, Wano also seems unlikely outside of shock factor so I would say later if at all.

Mid WCI there was this theory going around that Zoro is Kaido's son and the descendant of an empire of devil samurai and that he will fight and kill his father for the throne.
OT:
The immortality surgery won't be performed on anyone, most likely there will be characters that had the surgery performed on them.
Remember, Doffy wanted to raise Law to perform the surgery on him. Doffy was a celestial dragon himself to he prolly got the idea from somewhere.

Oda seemingly portrayed his death to be tied to his own devil fruit usage so I think since aforementioned DF is just too imposing and constituting utmost importance.. Oda hardly will let someone kill Law or any incident to occur to him and at best have him sacrifice his own life for a greater good in a great deed.
