it doesn't make sense when Doffy and kata have it, but Law somehow won't, ever.

Law will get it, Oda just isn't going to give it to him at the same time as Zoro, because that would imply Law is on his level, and its clear Law is supposed to be the 2nd/3rd strongest swordsman by EoS.

imo, when the straw hats fight the marines, the captain trio will fight Akainu and the former fleet admirals.
Luffy vs Akainu
Law vs Sengoku
Kid vs Kong

This will be when Law gets CoC.

I think Law will unlock his COC against Big Mom while Kid will unlock the advanced level.
Technically, Law can learn AdCOC in any arc but my guess would be Elbaf, the most powerful country.

I wonder which other exciting opponents Oda will prepare for Law in the future. Theoretically speaking he won't necessarily have to help against the admirals at the final war.

No. Law isn’t a conquerer and he will not magically become one later. Doflamingo specifically used Law as an example of someone who isn’t a conquerer to compare to Luffy who is a conquerer to explain why Luffy has more potential than him. If Oda planned on making Law a CoC user, I doubt he would write that scene in and tbh he would’ve used it in Dresrossa. Dresrossa is the most relevant Law will ever be in the story

He may have it but it would be useless for him anyway unless he advances or learns to coat it at least like Yamato.

So might as well not get it alltogether in that case.

Bro is Yamato a conqueror? Is Zoro a conqueror? Is Katakuri a conqueror?

It’s quite clear any strong pirate will get CoC at this point. The only question is will they unlock it young (Yamato/Ace) or later (Zoro). Law will be a late bloomer. He’s probably a CoA specialist like Zoro.

Useless OR learns to coat it like Yamato? So useless either way?
Kid: Hey Law, is your CoC awakened?
Law: Yes, but it consumes too much stamina, i use it only when i really have too.
Kid: Mines the same.
Underrated joke. :milaugh::milaugh::milaugh:

As 1 of the main characters leading the new gen he probably should imo. If you want to be any type of big shot pirate having it at this point is necessary
But if he does kid should get something even more special and not just advanced coc

Law like luffy has the will of d and is his strongest ally
Kid like luffy has conquerors and is his strongest rival
With kid and law also rivaling eachother

Law getting it means kid will get something even better

is Yamato a conqueror?
Daughter of a conquerer and has shown strong willpower. Makes senses she has it.
Is Zoro a conqueror?
Future Worlds Strongest Swordsman. Great ambition and willpower. Right hand of the future PK. Definitely makes sense he has it.
Katakuri a conqueror?
Son of a conquerer and the symbol of perfection and the honestly the real leader for a yonko crew. Kinda makes sense he has it.

And anyway I wasn’t really referring to Laws personality when I said that he wasn’t a conquerer (though personality wise he still doesn’t fit the bill). I meant that Doffy himself said that Law wasn’t a conquerer when he said Luffy has more potential than him because he has CoC.

Why would Oda use Law as an example of a strong pirate without CoC to compare with Luffy who does have it, if Law truly was always a conquerer all along?

Again, I'm not stating whether they deserve it or not, but whether they deserve the title of "conqueror". They clearly don't.

He should have it already but god forbid letting someone other than the MC or the previous ultimate pirate be a D and have CoC at the same time. Let's make an exception for daddy Monkey and maybe even grandpa Monkey because "lololol MC bloodline too stronk and built different". So yes, sadly he's probably never getting it.
I doubt Oda will add another D and COC user.
Oda is a coward then :goyea:

If Oda gave COC and D. to another character in Luffy's generation WHO IS NOT DEAD (Ace), then it would only make Luffy look better as heir apparent, imo.

But I think Oda is a coward ever since he killed off Ace. Still love One Piece and appreciate Oda, though. These are just the reality of the situation.

Former Royal Warlord of the sea, adopted family of Celestial Dragons Donquixote Doflamingo and Donquixote Corazon, only remaining survivor of Flevance, the White City, future Great Pirate, D. Absolutely fits the bill.

He fits the bill personality wise, too. It's kind of strange he doesn't display it yet.
