Smoker is very important for the end game, yet he gets constantly slandered because he had one bad day. He lost consecutively to Law, Vergo and Doflamingo.
Lucci has lost to Luffy already and he will soon lose to Zoro. The Blackbeard Pirates are still in hiding. Perhaps when he is already on the ground, Lafitte will appear and kicks him down even further. There might still be an open score from when BBP and CP0 clashed on Balitgo. Lafitte also likely hates government agents, because he was banished by them.
