Speculations Will Luffy fight Kid at some point?

Base Luffy was being ragdolled by Doffy, that's why he had to use G4 and even that wasn't enough to KO a hugely injured Doffy.
In a 1v1 Doffy was clearly superior to both Luffy and Law by the time we were in DR, now it's another story

The (debateble) fatigue of Luffy in the Colosseum is not comparable to Doffy taking a Gamma Knife (an attack that destroys your organs). Doffy managed to keep them vaguely tied together but those were 2 very different conditions of stress/wound/fatigue

Doflamingo was wholly mopping the floor with Luffy before being Gamma Knifed but then all turned a weird shift and even G2/G3 seemed to respond decently.

Gamma Knife did Doffy quite quite extremely dirt.

But Kidd is part of the same Worst Generation as Luffy. Why would two conquerers in the same generation with same dream not duke it out for the sake of their dreams at some point? Luffy doesn’t need to fight EVERY conquerer because not all of them have a goal that would get in Luffys way. But Kidd does, he wants to be pirate King just like Luffy and has shown incredible willpower and ambition to chase this dream. We know Kidd will not give up on his dream easily and of course Luffy won’t either. Kidd will realize at some point to achieve his dream he must try to go through Luffy.

I think the same. Besides, if the Worst Gen is the future of piracy, it means that not only Luffy will be important after defeating the Yonko. And as for the rest of the Supernovas:

- X Drake is a marine
- Bonney I don't think she'll ever be a pirate again
- Hawkins and Apoo, after Wano, will be nothing but NW fodder
- Bege has a family and I don't think he wants to be Pirate King
- Urouge is a mystery
- Law is a friend

By default, the only one who should have to deal with Luffy is Kid.

Out of curiosity, do you think that Luffy could have beaten him alone? And do you think Kid would have beaten Doffy without Law's help?

Of course he could not the way I see it. After all, Luffy was almost running out of time, in a situation where both started fresh, I imagine Doffy would have been overall better suited despite fresh Luffy would have proven to be stronger than the Luffy who fought Doffy.

But I have a high esteem of Doffy, in my opinion he is slightly above YC2 level whilst not Gamma Knifed.

It's possible yes but I think Luffy is too far ahead of him at the moment Luffy's real rival is Blackbeard

Luffy will surely be the main element to beat Kaido kid no so if the fight is after Wano the fight will not be balanced
