Future Events Will luffys top 3 solo the calamities?

Fuck it, I’m just gonna say this - if Zoro/Sanji/Jinbe in ANY order can’t beat King/Queen/Jack at this point, the Straw Hats cannot reasonably vie for the title of the Pirate King and crew. Luffy’s a world beater, that’s fine, but he cannot drag his nakama to Laugh Tale like LeBron took the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals in ‘07. If his new Monster Trio can’t be counted on to at least match up somewhat with other YCs, it’s not even worth the time it takes to have this conversation.

At this rate, Oda will have to give every other Yonko/higher tier combatant coronavirus so they all die, leaving our protagonists as the most powerful people in the OP world. Shameful that we’re at a point where this is the only reasonable way to elevate these characters.

In general I think the Calamities deserve more respect than they're getting. The dukes fought that single MF back to back day and night for days.

True power wise the trio under Luffy are vaguely defined so it's not out the window. But the only working idea imo is the fact that Zoro's whole life is aimed at getting stronger and taking on the best opponents. Sanji is high level but fighting to him is pretty much just protecting people and he'd rather spend his time on cuisine and hookers. Jinbe is a great fighter but he's so useful in other ways and strongest in the water anyway.

Luffy's best ability isn't to be a world beater but to rally people. Other Pirates, locals, etc. We'll see more allies and his eventual grand fleet over having the single strongest crew IMO
