When Sanji's genetic modification awoke in his body, his eyebrow suddenly began to be drawn inverted, so I noticed that his eyebrow was an objective visible indicator that his body had changed.
And now we can see that his eyebrow went back to normal now that he is sleeping.
So isn't it possible that Oda is using his eyebrow as a sign for the readers to be able to tell when Sanji's body is genetically modified and when it's just a normal human body?
Isn't it possible that Sanji body really went back to normal after sleeping?
My theory is that the genetic modification would affect permanently his body if he kept using the raid suit, but thanks to the fact that he destroyed it in time, all what was necessary was sleeping in order for the effects of the raid suit to go away.
On the one hand, I dislike my theory because it will mean that Sanji will lose his power-up, meaning that he will become weaker than he was in his fight with Queen, and I found it really cool how he became so fast and so strong, moving at invisible speed and using Ifrit Jambe to kick Queen to far away up in the sky.
But on the other hand, I like the possibility that he may lose the power-up, because then it will mean that he will finally be free from Germa's technology that he hates so much, and he will go back to being just an unmodified human being (unlike his brothers) who became monstrously strong just through his own effort and passion, without any cheap power-up that makes him look like a product of his nazi father.
And then perhaps in the next arc Sanji will get a new power-up, through natural means (without any technology), that will be much superior to the power-up that he lost, making the loss irrelevant. And by doing so Sanji will prove once and for all that he doesn't need Germa's technology to be strong enough.
