I don’t think he will, as I think WG forces need to start being thinned. I also think something big enough needs to happen for Akainu to have to personally target Straw Hats, bringing them into conflict with the Marines directly. Though I’m not sure Luffy will be solely responsible for the defeat of Saturn.
