General & Others Will the devil fruits cease to exist when the series end ?

If you mix all DFs together, you can create any World you like
Now imagine if the Sea itself had all DFs, it would be able to create any Island for People to Visit
Whatever Dream you got, the Sea will create an Island for it

So imo DF Users will cease to Exist
But DF Powers will remain and be used Properly where They truly belong "The Sea"

Yes

Luffy will lose his Nika powers fighting Imu and will subsequently be forced to give up piracy to avoid getting packed by the admirals.

He’ll go back to the baratie and work for Zeff for like 10 years.

Meanwhile Zoro will replace Luffy as captain of the SHs and subsequently become Pirate King. He’ll also marry Hancock, who probably loses interest in Luffy after he loses his powers.

Eventually, Zoro will feel bad for Luffy and pay Lilith to make him a super suit so he can be a pirate again.

The End

It would erase a strong and determinant point of the whole OP universe. It is like if you removed ninja arts or whatever they are called from Naruto, they could still kick each other in the balls but it wouldn't be the same thing. One piece would still have haki, which actually is a mess of a power system and not so interesting, indeed maybe removing haki wouldn't be so bad lol

Probably not.

If One Piece does end up getting some sort of sequel, like Boruto or Dragon Ball Super, chances are they'll want to keep one of the main power systems of the world intact.

If anything, I kind of expect a brand new crop of Devil Fruits to be born or to be grown all around the world. Teasing a whole new generation of Devil Fruit users and their crazy powers all inspired by the events of the main manga.

I think the Devil Fruits would only cease to exist if we replaced it with something effectively the same. Like maybe everyone gets access to whatever is giving the Gorosei their powers, maybe? Maybe that turns out to be a "purer" form of the Devil Fruit's power? But, otherwise, I think Devil Fruits are going to stick around.

I understand the logic behind kind of expecting the Devil Fruits to disappear, though. As a metaphor for childhood's end and all that. Or letting the ghosts of the past rest. But, I just don't expect that to end up being the case. Sometimes you need to be a little childish.
