Speculations Will the Marine create a team to take the One Piece?

I think Akainu has to lead something here... The whole world heard about it. It's not like they can afford to go without a direct approach any longer.

SWORD exists to do the dirty. Not the direct stuff.

They don't even have the man-power for it!

They're bringing fleets from the main headquarters. He may commission a small specialist squad and he may even be part of it, but only for really special stuff. I think they're mobilizing pretty much all their forces.

The CP1-0 are for the dirty stuff, Sword is like a commando squad similar to green berets.

2. Celestial Dragon Dirty = Diverging Dark Side Faction = Gorosei's boys

Sword don't fight off record, if they get caught they are still marines they are just fired if it comes to a war conflict. Tbf this part might not mattter. Garp isnt even in Sword, his actions have for all intent and purposes was a war declaration in of itself

Drake fought Cipher Pol directly. He didn't get fired.

SWORD has Garp's will or at least a very prominent member of it does. Koby.

I don't think that will be the last time we'll see Cipher Pol and SWORD at odds.

According to Film Red, Cipher Pol and Sword have somewhat of a rivalry, theres likely some in office politics going on, plus they would need to question Drake on everything.
Koby would have for sure gotten fired and left to the wolves without Garp.
Sword is expendably ultimately, they don't fight off the record they do it on record until the marines see them as a liability and drop them.

They may have failed in their mission to get Nico Robin because Drake intervened. I don't think he's getting away with that if he explains it.

They don’t need to take it, but I believe this will make the marines and the WG be more active against the emperors. Now that Vegapunk laid out that the One Piece tells the story of the void century AND tells people the location of the ancient weapons and what they do should make the marines take an active role in destroying those closest to the OP aka the emperors.

Koby and Akainu were pictured separately. So I think 2 marine teams will try to go for the One Piece, SWORD lead by Koby and one lead by Akainu, I think it'll be Akainu, GB and Kizaru. Fuji will probably have the mindset as that soldier who said we don't need to go after the OP and protect citizens instead, but its possible he'll somehow get wrapped in with Koby and SWORD. Still though, idk how this new race for One Piece with all these new factions he made won't take 500 chapters or some shit. So many characters......
