Current Events Will the match between the Flying Six and a Calamity happen ?

In the last chapters the Flying Six were summoned and reunited by King using Kaido's name (as they wouldn't have come if it was him who summoned them) so Kaido would present them to Big Mom and so they would search for Kaido's son Yamato who is nowhere to be seen in the Fire Festival.

As Who Who and Sasaki are former pirates captain and ambitious subordinates who each want to become a Calamity Kaido gave them the chance to get their wish come true with the reward of them retrieving Yamato being to get a match against a Calamity and for one of them to replace him should the Calamity loses.

Of course this announcement happened right after the Supernova-Samurai-Ninja-Mink alliance entered Onigashima with the intention of overthrowing Kaido and his allies, meaning that this fight was compromised even before it was announced.

Do you think that the fight between a Calamity and the Flying Six, or at least Sasaki and Who, will happen despite the battle that is going to happen very soon inside Onigashima ? If yes will it happens just before the alliance is full revealed, or will it instead happens after the battle should the alliance loses against the Yonkos ?
If it happens which Calamity should fight ? And which F6 other than Sasaki and Who could possibly join the battle ?

I doubt that

I think kaido will change the requirement from finding yamato to finding yamato AND the intruder to make festival more interesting

And queen will suggest apoo and some headliners to join to challenge the F6

I bet the fight will be cut off if a Calamity vs F6 match happens :josad:

any of them would get destroyed anyway against a Calamity , except maybe Drake
( would like to see him holding his own against Jack or Queen )

I believe a Calamity vs F6 match can still happen though , because Oda can prolong this mess with Kid Luffy Zoro ( even though the opponents are mostly fodders from Beasts Pirates )

The fight will happen only when the Flying Six able to find Yamato, according to Chapter 979.

From Chapter 979, i dont think everyone from Flying Six will able to find Yamato.

But, from the last chapter, Chapter 980. We see this panel


Its just matter of a time, Queen will reveal who he want to get rid of. And the story will be interesting if he want to get rid of X-Drake because somehow someway he knew if X-Drake was a spy in the beast pirates. (He might knew X-Drake is a marine)

So, X-Drake have to find his way out from this. And so far, the match between Flying Six - Calamities could be happening is just X-Drake vs Queen.

I was thinking about making a thread on it, but this thread will suffice. Now, let's see:
  1. Tobi Roppo are annoyed by Queen and were discussing Queen's replacement
  2. Kaido has promised Tobi Roppo a match-up with one of the Calamities if they bring back Yamato.
  3. Queen wants to get rid of one of the Flying Six.
So, yes, a Queen vs. one of the Tobi Roppo CAN happen. Then, let's answer the question, who it will be.

Well.... like most people here pointed it out, it is likely to be Drake. Queen may have gotten some clues about Drake and conversely Drake may have gotten (or will get) clues about Queen getting clues about him (I hope that made sense). Consequently, a fight between Queen and Drake is likely.

But if such a fight were to occur, the herbivorous dinosaur DF of Queen should have disadvantage over Carnivorous dinosaur DF of Drake. In another words, Queen may end up being Drake's fight of the arc, followed by Drake helping with Kaido (minimally).
