( Unpopular opinion: I think the plan could succeed )
While there have been some hiccups along the way, we are now close to the confrontation with Kaido and the start of the "War for Wano". And where we left off we saw the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance preparing a plan. So the question remains, will the plan Work?
Prior to this plans or strategies haven't had the best track record of success. Prime example of this would be the "assassination of Big Mom" failing. And even simpler plans like Jinbei's during Fishman Island not going as planned. But I think this time is going to be different.
I think the fact we don't know the specifics of the plan may actually be a good thing. I remember when Capone was talking about the assassination there were a lot of people saying that because we knew the plan it was going to fail. And I think they were correct.
Looking back to previous plans (WCI and Fishman Island) The plans have come apart because while the plans may be well thought out, the problem with simply trying to incorporate the Strawhats into a plan is Luffy's inability to follow it instead doing his own thing. But what this plan has it the fact the Strawhats aren't just going along with a pre existing plan, but are there in the planning stages and know Luffy well enough to plan around him, (My theory is that the plan doesn't involve Luffy but instead gives to space and allows him to do his own thing).
One of the big reasons I think this plan has a better chance of working is who their main opponents are in the Beast Pirates and Samurai, and that's because unlike the Big Mom Pirates when it comes to the Beast Pirates they are incredibly strong their different in the fact they seem to revolve around Zoan Type Devil Fruits and powers, and I think that is the big plus because unlike fighting Paramecia's or Logia's the Zoans are much more straight forward to fight without needing proper match ups. ( While Big Mom does put a pin it this we don't know how big a role she's going to play).
