there also is someone with a crescent moon shaped beard

the cross is the symbol of christianity, the crescent moon is a symbol for islam. so will there be a character with a beard shaped in the form of the most common symbol for judaism (the star of david)? to cover all three abrahamic religions.

It's possible, but I wouldn't call Sommers' beard a cross shaped beard, especially since the celestial dragons are against Nika and Kuma, Nika pretty much being almost entirely parallels to Jesus Christ, and Kuma being a christian

I think the Holy Knights are inspired by the Knights Templar. French crusaders who became so powerful that the french king had them annihilated. It was claimed that they prayed not to god but to devil like baphomet in secret. Probably not true. But the Holy Knights are indeed unholy and actually serve Satan. So even though they are the opposite of christian, they use christian symbols. So it is in fact a cross. I mean, he is from the shepherd family. Jesus was called the good shepherd.
