Future Events Will there be a Civilization on Lodestar?

#21
I feel that Lodestar is the "entrance" to Laugh Tale (or the old entrance to the "Great Kingdom" of the Void Century). After Vegapunk revealed that the sea level already rose up by 200 meters in the past, it's plausible to think that the "Great Kingdom" was a much bigger landmass than anyone ever imagined... if this is true, Lodestar and Laugh Tale, now separate islands, would be connected 800 years ago. Therefore, if Lodestar is the "gateway", then there'll be strong remnants of that ancient civilization when the SHs get there, as Inu already anticipated.

The question is whether it was possible. It is.

Shut the fuck up already.
What's your dedication to crashing out over even the smallest of topics? But nah, the OP specifically asked if people thought there would be civilization on the island

> But do you think there will be people on Lodestar or a Civilization?

And skepticism is pretty valid, based on everything we currently know.

Lodestar is supposed to be a guidance for the the pilot as what the name means
水先星島 = Pilot Planet Island
水先人 (Pilot) This is defined by Japanese law as a "maritime navigator", responsible for port entry, straits, etc., responsible for the safe operation of the ship, and ensuring ship safety. National pilots (navigators) must be well-versed in navigation, water depth, and currents. Regular work and climbing, guidance route, cooperation system separation.
From what is described above, the island is navigation centric. So we should expect a harbor and therefore should be a workforce behind it. A civilization no less expected.

The other name is called Lodestar which could also be a name existed during the early years since the age of the sea circle started. This is possibly a place where people start learning navigation on the blue planet. Maybe navigating to Laugh Tale is difficult, not so sure about this when so many people are going after One Piece, and I don't expect all of them to reach Lodestar.

Since I said this island existed since second world, I won't confirm the civilization is still there because it's so old. But for the story, there has to be people there.
