Stephen has openly admitted he only uses the L for consistency purpose, and has even stated he would love to go back and be able to retranslate the series from the beginning, in which he would change it to Zoro.

Pinzoro is a new character. He would most likely translate it properly, as there is no precedent forcing him to call the man anything different.
