Law crew vs Blackbeard crew was the first crew vs crew straight fight in the series without BS if i remember correctly, it was pretty hype even with Law's fodder crew but of course it was offscreened.
Having strawhats fighting BB crew or Shanks crew is a dream i have from years, but seems like Oda will never do straight fights without a 100+ chapters arc and lots of useless characters involved.
But there's still an hope in this "final saga" of having something like that since most characters involved already have enough buildup through the series and i don't see a reason for more inflated arcs just to take down one villain. But who know, its one piece after all and Oda may want to drag this saga to the limit.
