Do you think Zoro is going to kill himself? If you do when?
Imo I believe the way to better master a strong blade requires sacrifice and giving up a part of yourself. With the more you give the more you get
Besides Zoro when he had Shusui we only know of 2 black blade wielders that are alive. Them being Aramaki aka Ryokugyu and Mihawk. Both of whom I believe gave a lot in order to get their blades. IMO Mihawk making the biggest sacrifice and giving up his own life. With the blade being a permanent part of him giving him the ringed eyes basically representing more than one soul in one body. Along with him becoming a permanent part of his blade and it becoming black in the process
In Ryokugyu’s case I actually don’t think it was he himself that made the blade black but a significant woman in his life. If he did I think he’d have the ringed eyes too but he clearly doesn’t. We coincidentally know he has a tragic past that involves suicide too. So pretty much I think she gave up her life making the blade black but eventually passed either then or down the life. Ryokugyu carrying the blade in honor of her
To celebrate ryokugyu’s blade here’s a theory on how he might’ve got it
Crazy and out my ass but what if black blades are forged through a sacrifice. Like something crazy like killing a loved one or suicide. It being similar to zoan awakenings requiring death but still unique
We know Aramaki’s tattoo hints at suicide and death of a loved one. So maybe the sword originally belonged to a girl he really loved whether familial or romantic. Her death being what made the blade black with Aramaki deciding to hold it as a part of her. He can probably use it too but only when pushed to
Mihawk back in his youth definitely went through some big loss with it being tied to the betrayal he felt. Maybe after that lost he learned how black blades are permanently made and decided to try and achieve it. If he wasn’t strong enough he’d just kill himself but if he was he’d be able to overcome death and become one with yoru. If he didn’t try to kill himself what if the person that betrayed him used his own sword and literally stabbed him in the back leaving him to die. With the same effect either way. That maybe explaining his double ringed eyes because he and yoru are 1
There are a lot of ties between death and swords. Plus again the zoan comparison
This could also imply kuina is secretly alive sabo style since wado isn’t black. Which I wouldn’t mind tbh with her coming back as a man would be interesting imo
Ryuma potentially killing himself to make shusui black
It’d be mad funny if shusui did the same with zoro but he just didn’t realize because the blade is already black. Like if the scar on his eye is him deadass accidentally stabbing himself in the face lol. Him dying but surviving and growing stronger in the process. The blade wanting to be a part of zoro like it was ryuma. So it’d be like even tho he gave the sword up to wano it’s still with him in a way

I’ve said this in the past but I do believe Zoro fully mastered shusui during his timeskip training. Same way Luffy mastered g2/3 and Sanji DJ Zoro mastered his main power up before the timeskip. With shusui already being made black before it got to him by Ryuma + Zoro’s own relation to Ryuma making it a bit easier for him. Same way enma feeling like wado made it slightly easier. Zoro likely unknowingly giving up his eye in exchange for some power. Imo that being his new enhanced version of attacks post timeskip. With even him giving up the blade in exchange for another not being a loss of strength due to the power being a part of him now.
Pre timeskip they struggled to put down a single pacifista
Post timeskip each has the power to casually one shot one
What did each of them learn during their 2 years away?
They all got overall improvement basic stats like strength and speed + all learned new attacks like idk ufo, grill shot, or crossing 6 paths etc but besides the basics
Luffy
Did I miss anything?

Luffy
- Observation haki
- Armament haki (basic version)
- Casual invisible armament (still jet/gigant)
- Casual use of hardening (hawk/elephant)
- The flame armament he uses in g4
- Conquerors haki
- Casual g2
- Can be used in specific parts of his body
- Casual g3
- Can be used in specific parts of his body
- New gear aka g4
- Should’ve had both bound and snakeman. Idk about tank tho
- Assumption on my end but I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to gear stack aka roc attacks since he was able to stack them in thriller bark
- Observation haki
- Armament haki (external)
- Technically was able to use it pre timeskip but only with his unsheathing techniques like lions song and rashamon
- Casual Invisible armament
- Can use hardening but not yet casually
- Shusui mastery imo
- It probably being the reason for his scar like Ryuma’s
- Imo the reason for his new upgraded variants of old attacks. We know it’s not haki because he can use hardening with the old variants as we saw in dressrosa
- Observation haki
- Armament haki (basic)
- Casual invisible armament
- Didn’t show hardening or at best used it less than even zoro
- Casual diable jambe
- Both legs now
- No spinning necessary
- Can make his flame hotter when using haki to boost his toughness
- Sky and blue walk for mobility
Did I miss anything?

Same reason he didn’t know he had conquerors and probably doesn’t even know how asura works
Zoro killing himself to forge a blade blade also fits my theory/prediction that same way Luffy has a type hito zoan like Chopper and Sanji is a type of cyborg like Franky then Zoro will become a type of undead man like Brook
- Franky (cyborg) + Nami (royalty?) = Sanji
- Brook (undead) + Usopp (warrior tribe?) = Zoro
- Chopper (zoan/hito) + Robin (d clan?) = Luffy
