I've always described it as the female equivalent of Neon Genesis, only without mechas and more fucked up. It's a great anime before you hit your mid 20s.

I think Lain explores themes and thoughts more frequent in your adolescence and early adulthood. By the time you reach your mid 20s you would have already worked through certain issues and found your answer to them, so the anime won't hit as much, imo.

Other than Dandadan, Re:Zero, Bleach, Shangri-La Frontier, and Blue Box.

Orb, Ranma 1/2, All-Guy's Mixer, and TsumaSho were the other Fall Anime that I ended up really enjoying.

After checking the new season, thinking of watching:

- Solo Leveling S2. *Should* be more entertaining than the 1st season.

- The Apothecary Diaries S2. A must watch.

- Sakamoto Days. Heard the manga was good so let's see the anime.

- My Happy Marriage S2. I liked a lot the first season so happy that S2 is airing already.

- 100 Girlfriends S2. Expecting more *ridiculous* comedy

- Fate/Strange Fake. Will need to check the TV special prequel.

- Toilet Bound Hanako-kun S2. Will watch S1 soon.

- Honey Lemon Soda. Shoujo is hit or miss for me but I'll give it a chance.

- I'm getting married to a girl I hate in my class. Mandatory seasonal trashy romcom.

- Medaka is impervious to my charms. See above.

- Grisaia: Phantom Trigger. Need to watch the prequel movies after Eden.

Pending upon scores - Isekais.

This is enough for me I think.
