Break Week With how much this place loves Zoro, how did you guys react when he was sidelined for two years in WCI?

Oml I've never seen a character that gets people's panties in a bunch as much as Zoro lmao

People say that Sanji gets ganged up on but 99% of the time it's just people spamming "lanjifags, okama"

But people actually BELIEVE this shit that they saifd about Zoro
Zorotards man, in 2050 they'll still be theorizing that Zoro could be one of the best haki users in the story, actually having his left eye or that Mihawk isn't weaker than his so called rival. :goatasure:

If we're being honest, after the manga WCI arc ended I skipped the episodes entirely. Maybe I watched a handful, but that's it.

I only recently awoke to the magnificence of Zoro. I'm proud of Zoro and everything he will accomplish in Wano.

Everyone loves Zoro. Everyone is in love with Zoro.

That's why I said "Zoro fans" not "Toxic Zoro fans". It's not a mystery why you can literally post any old drivel and get the same people liking your shit take posts.
I like how "toxic Zoro fan" has progressed so far.

First, if you believed Zoro will partake in team fight vs Kaido, you were toxic Zoro fan,

Thought Zoro will scar Kaido? Toxic Zoro fan.

Thought Zoro will get ACoC? Toxic Zoro fan.

At this point, idek what differentiates them anymore.

It's like these toxic Zorotards always make right prediction, but then it gets ignored and the next prediction becomes toxic instead.

So only non-toxic Zoro fans are the ones who actively downgrade Zoro and downplay him- predicting he'll do far worse and have far less importance than he actually ends up getting, I presume.

"I'm a good Zoro fan! I think Zoro is neg diff material for Luffy and will fight 2nd strongest and not do much else for the arc! Because that's what he did in every arc before!"

"I'm a toxic Zoro fan! I think he'll be narratively very important and involved even in the main fight during Wano, where he has a lot of build-up for over a decade regarding this arc!"

Wait, does that mean Oda is a toxic Zorotard? :kobeha:

You're too personally invested in Zoro to know the difference, any reasonable person can differentiate what a toxic fan of any character is and what isn't; I shouldn't have to explain that to you. None of what you said is what I would define as toxic, but for some reason you assumed I did, you also assumed my take on Zoro vs Luffy, you accomplished nothing with that comment as a reply to mine since it's based on a profile you already created of me in your head without even asking my thoughts on any of those matters. This comment would have made more sense independent of a reply to me.

I'm not making any assumptions about you. You're a dude who joined, like, 7 months ago, and have less than 80 messages. Alt or not, don't know, don't care.

I'm merely talking about this "toxic fanboy" definition set by majority of people who use the term. You happened to mention the prospect, so I quoted it. The thread wasn't about it, so general reply makes no sense- it's just that you started the entire topic of how "toxic" Zoro fans tend to be delusional here.

Although, it's weird you can go half a dozen responses talking about it without even specifying what your view on it even is lol

If you think my definition or any reasonable persons definition of "toxic fan" is someone merely creating a reasonable theory on what they think their favorite character will do or achieve in the future, then you're mistaken. I'm clearly talking about the loud and aggressive minority that attack fans of other characters and Oda himself when their unreasonable or sometimes reasonable ideas don't come to fruition or aren't agreed with. But to water it down to "If you say Zoro will get Coc you're toxic" is a very dishonest approach to this topic since that's not what the majority would define as toxic, since most fans did think he would get it, so I would recommend you take a gander outside of this site and you'll see that.

WCI changed my one piece experience.
i first binged the anime and cought up around the pre-deressrosa filler.
didn't have favourites, but i always hated sanji and usopp.
my favourite anime moment was when the sea kings were talking about luffy.

during WCI:
i reread dressrosa.
zoro became my favourite character.
i reread all of previous zoro moments and fights.
i started reading more manga, mainly one punch man, vinland saga and tokyo ghoul re.

Idk what your definition is. You didn't elaborate anything. I'm only quoting you because you started this entire topic to begin with.

Also, you're damn wrong about majority. Maybe CoC wasn't something commonly disputed, but things like Zoro potentially facing Kaido or scarring him would get you shittalked heavily- for instance, places such as Reddit would downvote you into oblivion for implying such after Zoro got Enma.

Ultimately, I know there are few eggs who shit on and insult others. But, again, there are those eggs everywhere and in every community.

Let me ask you out of curiosity, though, since you talked about theories and whatnot. Do you think the ZKK pushing Zoro fans are delusional or toxic, as you'd put it?

Funny at first seeing how much Oda could and would shit on Sanji in his own so called arc. The meltdown of the sanjino fandom was glorious too, that shit kept me going for quite a while.

At the end though, I was just bored as shit with 50 chapters of BM screaming "wedding cake", and me developing some pity for the cook. Imagine getting no real 1 v 1 in your own arc, and your only real character progression of discarding your family, getting shat on with daddy giving you his tech as a parting gift. Don't even like Sanji but that was a low blow.

"Toxic" and "Delusional" aren't the same thing, if a poor bastard thinks Zoro would defeat Luffy in a fight they are delusional but if they respectfully state their opinion and move on, there is nothing toxic about that. ZKK is not delusional, the possibility is there, personally I don't believe the possibility is high but it is surely present, but the toxicity comes with the cult like push; when it's becomes a us vs them thing, where anyone who disagrees is labeled a Zoro hater, stan of another character or said other character is attacked; when the same theory with the same points is spammed every chapter with the aim of drowning out any other topic and when said people put their opinion on Oda as a writer on whether or not it happens, then that is definitely toxic; no one active in the community can deny that this is very common behavior among the ZKK enthusiasts.

As for your claim that the majority shittalked non toxic Zoro fans saying that Zoro will fight Kaido, then they themselves are toxic, but it's important to know how that idea was being pushed, in what manner, was it aggressive?.....if yes then the reply is understandable, if not then like I said before it's toxic.
